Largest Pool in the World

San Alfonso.jpgI've always wondered what the largest pool in the world was.  I was in one in Hawai'i, years ago, that had a river and waterfalls incorporated right into it.  I walked around that river for about 40 consecutive hours.  Then there's the behemoth at The Biltmore Hotel in the greater Miami area.  That thing's a small lake

Well, now I have a definitive answer to my question.  San Alfonso del Mar, a resort in Algarrobo city on the southern coast of Chile, has just wrapped construction on their newest aquatic attraction, and it's massive.  Guinness Book recognizes it.  Photos and details follow.

Get me a plane ticket and an Aquaman suit.  I'm sure you can land a plane right in that pool.

That's a lot of room for a floating band-aid!
