J.C.: Ann Coulter's Right! George Bush Will Go Down as One of America's Greatest Presidents!
I think he is one of the best Presidents we've ever had. I know that's not popular, but, again, I look to one of my heroines, Ann Coulter, to confirm my decision.
Well, her latest post has some really smart things in it. She actually calls out why Bush is so good! Here are her amazing words.
"In a conversation recently, I mentioned as an aside what a great president George Bush has been and my friend was surprised. I was surprised that he was surprised."Me, too! Why are people surprised when we say how good Bush is?!?!
"I generally don't write columns about the manifestly obvious, but, yes, the man responsible for keeping Americans safe from another terrorist attack on American soil for nearly seven years now will go down in history as one of America's greatest presidents."It's true! You don't write about the obvious, but the way you state everything, it all seems so obvious!!! (And she is so pretty! :-) ) Then God Coulter points out how good Bush is and reminds us how terrible Clinton was!
"Merely taking out Saddam Hussein and his winsome sons Uday and Qusay (Hussein family slogan: "We're the Rape Room People!") constitutes a greater humanitarian accomplishment than anything Bill Clinton ever did -- and I'm including remembering Monica's name on the sixth sexual encounter."She is so good! So good! I mean, just brilliant! Clinton was too busy looking for sex to do anything, and Bush has defeated the terrorists. You tell me who is better!
Yeah! All these liberals are concerned about places like Darfur and other places in Africa where no one lives instead of being concerned about places in the Middle East where terrorists keep congregating and fighting freedom.
"But unlike liberals, who are so anxious to send American troops to Rwanda or Darfur, Republicans oppose deploying U.S. troops for purely humanitarian purposes. We invaded Iraq to protect America."
Her blog has a lot of other great information on it, so I totally recommend you read it and learn something. Here are a few more gems:
"The Iraq war has been a stunning success."She's brilliant!
"Monthly casualties in Iraq now come in slightly lower than a weekend with Anna Nicole Smith. According to a CNN report last week, for the entire month of May, there were only 19 troop deaths in Iraq. (Last year, five people on average were shot every day in Chicago.) With Iraqi deaths at an all-time low, Iraq is safer than Detroit -- although the Middle Eastern food is still better in Detroit. " Iraq IS safer than Detroit! Look at those numbers!
"The Iraqis have a democracy -- a miracle on the order of flush toilets in that godforsaken region of the world."
"There is not a liberal in this country worthy of kissing Bush's rear end, but the weakest members of the herd run from Bush. Compared to the lickspittles denying and attacking him, Bush is a moral giant -- if that's not damning with faint praise. John McCain should be so lucky as to be running for Bush's third term. Then he might have a chance. "
Just for the record, I don't think I'm going to respond to JLF's comments on my posts anymore. It upsets me too much... :-{

Wow. Again, Jenn, I don't know how you can post this stuff, and John, I don't know how you can let her. You don't think she's over the line now? Yesterday she said GuantanImo Bay (as she spelled it) was a great idea, now this?
Jenn: It's just like Coulter-thinkng people to boil down an entire presidency into one note. Clinton? Sexual fiend. Bush? War president. The truth is that there are many more dimensions to a 4-year term, and Bush is letting us down on every front.
On top of that, measuring terrorist attacks in years shows just how little you've learned since 9/11. These are patient people. There were ten years between the two World Trade attacks, and we weren't fighting any wars to find them at the time. Unchecked, they took over 10 years. Now you're saying that the last 7 years are a success? Again, you've learned nothing. The terrorists think in terms of generations when they are plotting attacks. Generations.
If you're going to do a comparison between Detroit and/or Chicago and Iraq, you have to make it apples to apples. How many Iraqis are killed a day? Many, many more than in Chicago or Detroit residents. What you are saying is that it's safer to be one of 100,000 American troop in Iraq, with your gear, weapon, humvee, fellow soldiers, technology and information than to be a civilian in a city with over a million people with poverty and the conflicts that exist in any city...
Please don't respond to my comments. Please. You only dig yourself a bigger hole. Like yesterday? Guanatanamo is IN Cuba.
I'm the best blogger, ever.

I love it when you two go at it.
Jenn, JLF has good points, but your posts are greatly valued here! You represent a voice we didn't have before, so thanks for putting your vision out there.
