J.C.: Why to Vote for McCain
Well, this post is going to about this presidential election. Our presidential election. I just can't believe this Obama Hussein-mania! :-( Boo. I'm not going to focus on why I think B. Hussein Obama is going to destroy this country if he's elected, you can see my other posts for that. (Jenn Cloutier posts.) Instead, I'm going to focus on McCain. Is anyone listening to what McCain is saying?!?! I mean, he's the perfect candidate! Come on!
First, he says that by the end of his first term, January 2013, the Iraq war will be won, Al Qaeda will have been totally hunted down and will be safe nowhere, the U.S. will have had lots of years of robust growth, the world food crisis will have ended and our southern border will be totally secure from all those people trying to get in this country. How can you not vote for him!? All of that in four years!
It's not that B. Hussein is terrible, it's that McCain is perfect!
When asked to explain how he'd finish the Iraq war, must I point out, like McCain did, that he has BEEN in a war? He knows how to END wars? Come on! It's a no brainer! Clearly McCain has all the insight we need to finish Iraq, and he'll be done in a matter of years.... once he's President.
In terms of the economy, McCain explains that he will balance the budget, even with $300 billion in tax cuts. As McCain says, though, "I'll find you $100 billion tomorrow." How can you not believe him? Come on!
He will also capture Osama bin Laden. We think bin Laden's in Pakistan, but McCain knows he doesn't even have to go there, because it's a sovereign nation. McCain, in fact, says he doesn't even have to explain HOW he will get bin Laden because that would tell bin Laden exactly how to hide from us! Of COURSE he wouldn't tell us!
He will do all this in his first term. I'm totally blown away that he's going to fix the world, essentially, in 4 years, and America is not getting behind him? Voting for McCain is the easiest decision in the history of the Earth!

I still don't understand why John is letting you post here. I get that you bring a fresh voice to the site, but it's just such a dumb one.
First off. If McCain can end the war in Iraq, why hasn't he just slipped a note to President Bush over the past 5.5 years? Why keep it a secret... until he's President?
Any politician who says "I can find $100 billion for you tomorrow," clearly has no concept of how things are run in Washington. Anyone who thinks it's that easy is living on a cloud with other dreaming idiots. You know a good way to find $100 billion? Get out of Iraq and stop giving tax breaks to the rich.
How is he going to find Osama bin Laden without going into the country Osama bin Laden is currently hiding in?
At some point... don't you ask yourself, is McCain serious, or just talking a bunch of hot air? Is this just more empty political rhetoric he can't possibly bring to light?
End the global food crisis? Does he understand how many factors go into the cost of food? He's going to balance global demand and control the cost of pesticides, fertilizer (both petroleum based), water, shipping (again, petroleum), seeds (some are patented and the owners can charge what they want)? He's going to tackle all that, and more, just to control the food crisis?
Balance the budget and give tax cuts? End Iraq war? Continue to ignore Pakistan's war, secure our southern border? In 4 years? AND not feel the need to lay out any of his plans to get this done?
It's pure hogwash. If I was an alien, looking in, I'd think you were a donkey dressed in pretty girl's clothing, sent here to f up our world.
I'm the best blogger, ever.
